In the last decade, the fund of knowledge regarding the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the foot and ankle has increased exponentially. The current generation of orthopedic residents and fellows have access to techniques and treatment modalities not available to their predecessors. A significant portion of this knowledge was generated through the efforts of Mark Myerson and his peers. Myerson has authored numerous articles and book chapters describing the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery: Management of Complications represents his latest contribution to the foot and ankle literature.
