In addition to the confusion of singular and plural forms described by William Dressler, MD, New York (LETTERS, JAMA191:346 [Jan 25] 1965), I should like to mention the erroneous substitution of "opaque media" for "opaque medium," when only one radiopaque compound is commonly used at any one time.
