In this little book the author has endeavored to answer the question as to how and under what circumstances bacteria produce disease. The book is elementary in its scope, suitable for nurses, for instance, and beginners in general in the study of bacteriology. There is very little discussion of any technical matters. The book can be recommended as thoroughly reliable.
