Incorrect Information: In the Original Contribution entitled “Comparison of Mental Health Between Former Child Soldiers and Children Never Conscripted by Armed Groups in Nepal” published in the August 13, 2008, issue of JAMA (2008;300:691-702), incorrect/incomplete information appeared about one of the study instruments. On page 693, under the “Study Instruments” section, the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) time frame was incorrectly listed as 1 week. The SDQ uses a 6-month time frame, while the version used in this study did not specify a timeline. The Nepali translation of the SDQ used in this study was a draft version not authorized for wider use. The validation cutoff score of 16 was based on a validation completed on the Nepali version, not the cutoff score of the English-language version of the instrument.
