Text Omitted: In the Commentary entitled “Progress in Providing HIV Testing and Counseling in Health Facilities: WHO/UNAIDS Guidance,” published in the July 21, 2010, issue of JAMA (2010;304[3]:342-343), a phrase was omitted from the second paragraph. The third PITC recommendation should have read: “(3) select populations and persons with clinical indications for HIV in low-level epidemics (HIV may have been present for many years but never spread to substantial levels in any subpopulation; ie, prevalence has not been consistently >5% in any defined subpopulation).” The online version of this article has been corrected.
