In the Original Investigation entitled “Sofosbuvir and Ribavirin for Hepatitis C in Patients With HIV Coinfection” published in the July 23/30, 2014, issue of JAMA (2014;312[4]:353-362. doi:10.1001/jama.2014.7734), there was an incorrect degree in the byline and there were incorrect data reported. In the byline, it should have been “Liyun Ni, MS.” In the abstract, Results section, a 95% confidence interval was incorrect in the first sentence, it should have been “… 23 patients (88%) of 26 with genotype 2 (95% CI, 70%-98%) …” In Figure 1, in the second box of the figure with “106 Excluded,” the fourth line of the box should have been “29 Did not meet baseline laboratory parameters.” Also in Figure 1, in the penultimate boxes, “week-12” should not have appeared. In Table 1, for the “CD4 T-cell count” row, the median (interquartile range) in the “Genotype 1” column should have been “583 (455-812).” In Table 3, for the “Decreased hemoglobin concentration, <10” row, the values for the entire row were incorrect and should have been “21 (18.4)” in the “Treatment Naive/Genotype 1” column; “8 (11.8)” in the “Treatment Naive/Genotype 2 and 3” column; and “3 (7.3)” in the “Treatment Experienced/Genotype 2 and 3” column. Also in Table 3, under “Total bilirubin, the subcategory of “3 to ≤6 mg/dL” should have been “>3 to ≤6 mg/dL.” This article was corrected online.
