JAMA. 2002;287(24):3212. doi:10.1001/jama.287.24.3212

Incorrect Figure Legend and Acknowledgment Omissions. The Original Contribution entitled "Thrombolytic Therapy vs Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Myocardial Infarction in Patients Presenting to Hospitals Without On-site Cardiac Surgery: A Randomized Controlled Trial" published in the April 17, 2002, issue of THE JOURNAL (2002;287:1943-1951) contained an error in the legend for Figure 2 (page 1947). The legend should have read, "Survival was significantly better (P = .03) in the group receiving percutaneous coronary intervention." In addition, the following persons were inadvertently omitted from the acknowledgment: Anil Fatterpaker, MD, and Stephen Plantholt, MD, St Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, Md; Muriel Gulasci, RN, Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, Mass; Patricia Wolcott, RN, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, Md; and Karen Liebermann, RN, Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, Md.
