Typographical Error: In the Clinical Crossroads article entitled “A 59-Year-Old Man Considering Implantation of a Cardiac Defibrillator,” published in the May 2, 2007, issue of JAMA (2007;297:1909-1916), a typographical error occurred on page 1909. The second to the last sentence of the sixth paragraph should read: “His chest was clear; his cardiovascular examination showed a normal S1 and S2 without murmurs or gallops.”
