This book contains practically all the information now available on the subject of obesity. It is well put together, particularly from the clinical point of view. The pathologic and etiologic classifications might not be accepted by every one, but on the whole the book serves as an excellent review of current knowledge. It is interesting to note that almost all the literature on this subject is of recent date and includes at least some of the more important American contributions. Newburgh's latest publications are apparently too recent to be included.
