This well known book has been revised by Dr. Vail to bring it up to date. The chapter on muscles has been omitted but was not in order in a book on therapeutics. Dr. F. C. Cordes has revised the chapters on specific and nonspecific protein therapy and physical therapy and treatment of optic nerve disease, and Dr. John Bellows has brought up to date the parts on sulfonamide and antibiotic therapy. The book is a handy reference volume on ocular therapeutics and should continue to be popular with practicing ophthalmologists.
