ARMED FORCES INSTITUTE OF PATHOLOGY
Kenneth M. Earle, M.D., was appointed chief of the Neuropathology Branch, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, effective Feb. 1, 1962. He succeeds Webb E. Haymaker, M.D., who transferred to a position with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in April, 1961. Dr. Earle comes to the Institute from the University of Texas School of Medicine in Galveston.
Anesthesiologists Select President.—
Lt. Col. John A. Jenicek was elected president of the Military Society of Anesthesiologists. Composed of anesthesiologists of all the armed forces, both active and reserve, the group meets annually to keep its membership informed of the progress of anesthesiology in the armed forces medical services.
Maj. Gen. James L. Snyder, Commandant of the Medical Field Service School since October, 1959, became the Commanding General of Brooke Army Medical Center on December 1st. He succeeded Maj. Gen. John F. Bohlender
