Abstract

An error occurred in the ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTION "Two-Step Warfarin Therapy: Prevention of Postoperative Venous Thrombosis Without Excessive Bleeding," published in the Jan 21 issue of The Journal (1983;249:374-378). On page 375, the third sentence in the second paragraph under the "Drug Regimens" heading should have read as follows: "The average daily preoperative warfarin sodium dose needed to achieve this effect was 3.0 mg ( ± 1.7 SD), with a range of from 0.5 to 10.0 mg."
