To the Editor We read the report by Kytömaa et al1 with great interest and wish to compliment the authors for providing pivotally important data related to the substantial association of presumptive community-acquired influenza with the risk of heart failure hospitalizations. Certainly, it was also interesting that there was no definitely analogous signal as regards incidence of acute myocardial infarction.
