In Reply We thank Conte et al for their interest in our article.1 The intersection of clonal hematopoiesis (CH), diet, inflammation, and infectious risk indeed merits discussion and consideration. Conte et al highlight the potential that diet and CH may be contributing to enhanced inflammation, particularly in the context of increased risk of infections.
