Lentigolike Macules and Erythematous Plaques on Trunk and Extremities—Diagnosis

Microscopic findings showed fingerlike, elongated, rete ridges extending into the papillary dermis with increased melanin pigment ( Figure 3). Multiple foci of suprabasal acantholysis with scattered dyskeratotic keratinocytes and overlying focal parakeratosis were also identified. A mild superficial perivascular lymphocytic infiltrate was also seen. Our patient elected not to use any treatment.
