There is a strong and growing movement in this country to get away from the promiscuous prescribing of proprietary preparations which have not disinterested authentication of their composition and claims. . . . Of what interest is this movement to dermatologists? . . . The one reason which would seem self-evident is that we should know what we give our patients.
