Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a multisystem connective tissue disorder of autoimmune origin, characterized by alteration of the microvasculature and deposition of collagen. The term localized scleroderma (LS) defines a spectrum of entities in which there is only skin sclerosis. Both SSc and LS can occur as a paraneoplastic syndrome, associated with various tumors.1
