This book is a treasure. Written by a dermatologist/dentist (Eisen) and a dentist/oral pathologist (Lynch), The Mouth is a superb reference for all clinicians who care for patients with oral diseases.
This book is complete with 15 chapters beginning with normal oral anatomy and diagnosis of oral diseases through genodermatoses, oral manifestations of systemic diseases and human immunodeficiency virus infection, to therapy of oral diseases. Along the way, benign, premalignant, and malignant lesions, reactive and infectious diseases, and dermatologic diseases with oral manifestations are covered superbly. The chapter on therapy of oral diseases is an excellent resource in itself. Any clinician would find this volume to be valuable; any dermatologist will find it to be invaluable.
