We agree with Léauté-Labrèze and Taïeb in that not all of our reported cases responded dramatically to interferon therapy.
Although the literature indicates 7 years for complete spontaneous involution of hemangiomas,1- 4 we are aware of the great variability that exists among individual cases. Taking as a reference our series of more than 1000 patients with hemangioma, we considered that even the slow responders responded to treatment with interferon much faster than would have been expected by spontaneous involution only.
