In the first 2 large case series of patients with pemphigus foliaceus, Perry and Brunsting1 documented that heat and sunlight exacerbate the condition in a significant fraction of cases. Later case reports reaffirm heat and sun exposure as causative or contributory factors in this disease.2 We describe the first reported case of pemphigus foliaceus induced by psoralen–UV-A (PUVA).
