To the Editor I read with great interest the Viewpoint by Steinman and colleagues1 on treating superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC) with Mohs surgery. The authors rightly point to the paucity of evidence regarding sBCC management, though this limitation applies not just to sBCC but to most other nonmelanoma skin cancers as well.2
