To the Editor It was with great interest that I read the systematic review and meta-analysis by Jull et al1 (which analyzes our research group’s work,2 among that of others) as well as Kirsner’s related Editorial on the nature of venous leg ulcers (VLUs).3 Together, they indicate a renewed interest in using exercise as an adjunct therapy to compression for people with VLUs. This should be whole-heartedly supported.
