In Reply Thank you to Drs Dhana and Lehloenya for their comments and interest in our article examining mortality prediction in patients with Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN) in the United States.1 We recognize the limitations of retrospective studies in performing rigorous research in rare diseases like SJS/TEN but believe that despite the stated limitations of this study, it does provide valuable new information for the dermatology community.
