Focal Dermal Hypoplasia

A girl younger than 2 years presented with linear skin lesions on her left trunk, arm, and leg that had been present since birth. Physical examination revealed facial atrophic papules with telangiectasias (Figure 1); streaked erythematous, hypopigmented, and hyperpigmented papules that followed Blaschko lines on the left side of the trunk and extremities; and soft yellow fat herniations (Figure 2). She had no history of developmental delay, digital or skeletal abnormalities, or seizures, and no abnormalities of the eye, nails, hair, or teeth were observed.
