The second edition of An Illustrated Guide to Skin Lymphoma by Cerroni et al is an improved and updated version of this magnificent book. Many of the chapters are totally new or entirely rewritten, incorporating novel discoveries in the field of cutaneous lymphomas. The authors excel at describing the clinical and pathological features of each variant of cutaneous lymphomas, with a detailed state-of-the-art explanation of our present understanding of the pathomechanisms of these entities and on the proper use of diagnostic tools. Yet the authors recognize that there are still gaps in our knowledge of certain lymphomas, such as cytotoxic tumors, that may show overlapping features and allow for no clear-cut diagnosis. To illustrate the fact that the classification of cutaneous lymphomas is still a work in progress, cases presented in this book have been reclassified over time and the same case may have been published on more than 1 occasion with a different diagnosis.
