From reading the preface, one might be fooled into believing that Handbook of Psoriasis is simply an abbreviated version of Charles Camisa's comprehensive hardcover text, Psoriasis, published by Blackwell Science Inc in 1994. In fact, this handbook includes new sections on a number of new drugs such as cholecalciferol (vitamin D) analogs and tacrolimus. Moreover, this handbook provides exceptionally simple, easy-to-follow guidelines on how to administer treatments such as sulfasalazine, antimetabolites, and immunosuppressive drugs.
