An excellent book primarily devoted to nail surgery has finally arrived. I regularly give lectures across the country on nail surgery and have found a great need for clear, concise, step-by-step nail surgical instruction. This book delivers exactly that.
Dr Krull uses many references in his chapters from many different authors, and this is greatly appreciated. Most of the diagrams and photographs are exceptionally clear and illustrative. The chapter on longitudinal melanonychia is remarkably complete. The laser chapter is quite comprehensive. The 2 chapters on imaging and on the painful nail are not only complete but innovative. Dr Zook, a hand surgeon respected worldwide, gives his point of view in several well-written chapters.
