Narrowband UV-B phototherapy, alone or in combination with other topical agents, is regarded as the therapy of choice for vitiligo. We had recently found that the 308-nm xenon chloride (XeCl) excimer laser was effective in inducing repigmentation in one patient with localized vitiligo.1 The aim of this study was to expand our observation on the therapeutic efficacy and safety of the 308-nm XeCl laser for the treatment of vitiligo.
