With the perfection of the accuracy of dosage of the roentgen ray in the treatment of diseases of the skin, there has been added to the therapeutic armamentarium of the dermatologist the most valuable agent in the history of this specialty. A large number of dermatoses that in former years stubbornly resisted all methods of treatment now lend themselves quite readily to properly applied doses of roentgen rays. We have endeavored to review the results obtained in the past two years in the department of dermatology, and the findings have been pleasing indeed. A large number of diseases are not included in this review, because patients did not present themselves with the necessary frequency and regularity to allow us to draw any positive conclusions.
