Abstract

Cases Showing the Results of Treatment with Gold and Sodium Thiosulphate in Lupus Erythematosus. Presented by Dr. Bechet. (From the Service of Dr. H. H. Whitehouse, Skin and Cancer Hospital.) 

Case 1.—  A woman, aged 40, had had lupus erythematosus of the nose of thirteen months' duration; she received fifteen injections of gold and sodium thiosulphate from Jan. 6 to April 28, 1927.

Case 2.—  The patient had had lupus erythematosus of the face and scalp of two years' duration; eight injections of gold and sodium thiosulphate had been given from March 15 to April 26, 1927.

Case 3.—  The patient had had lupus erythematosus of the face of six months' duration; twenty-six injections of gold and sodium thiosulphate had been given from Jan. 13 to April 30, 1927.
