With the publication of this work a gap in the medical library not only of the dermatologist and the physician engaged in industrial medicine, but also of the student and general practitioner, has finally been filled. This work is particularly noteworthy on account of its completeness; every type of injury to the skin no matter how rare or how trivial has received detailed attention from the numerous authors who have contributed to this much neglected subject.
