Lichen Nitidus. Presented by Dr. Throne.
C. S., a girl, aged 14, gave the history of a condition of three months' duration. It consisted of lichenoid papules, appearing on the lower part of the neck and upper part of the chest; some were arranged in irregular groups, which were rounded or oval; others were scattered around and between the groups. The individual papules varied in color from that of the normal skin to a light red and in size from that of a cross-section of a pin to that of a normal lichen planus papule. The skin covering the papules was in places normal; in others, red; and in the region of the older groups of lesions, pigmented. In the pigmented areas the skin seemed thinned, but no definite atrophy was discernible. The papules were flat topped. There were a few lesions of recent development on the thighs. The limbs
