By this work Pinkus places us still further in his debt for his studies of the diseases of the hair and nails. The work is divided into three parts. The first part treats of the anatomy of the hair, the second part of malformation of the hair and the third part of change in the hair following disease. It is hard to think of anything under these headings which he has not included. It is a useful addition to the literature on the subject.
