This small book is a useful addition to the literature on radiotherapy. It is a condensed but comprehensive survey of the subject, and it is characterized by the virtues of the conservative practical judgment that comes from a background of wide clinical experience. The author is frank and direct so that one grasps readily his views on any subject, and he has the very valuable quality in this field of caution without ultraconservatism. There is no place where in a small space one can get such satisfactory responsible advice on almost any question on radiotherapy in dermatology. One of the best qualities of the book is its conciseness.
