Abstract

About four and one-half years ago, one of us (T. C.) became interested in the calcium metabolism in eczema, which led to the use of viosterol as a therapeutic agent. We used a special material of high potency orally, intravenously and intramuscularly, and controlled the series by giving plain maize oil to another group of patients with eczema.
