To the Editor:— In an article by Eller and Kest entitled "Sarcoma Arising In an Organized Hematoma Resulting from A Single Trauma" (Arch. Dermat. & Syph.43:813 [May] 1941) I am quoted as having reported that the lesion was a "blood sarcoma" (p. 815). This is a misquotation. If there is such an entity as blood sarcoma, I have never heard of it. The report was given over the telephone, and my interpretation of the slide was fibrosarcoma.
