DISCUSSION

Dr. J. R. Haserick: The results from therapy have been excellent. The surprising thing is that neither patient had any untoward reaction to vitamin D2. Curtis has noted that patients with sarcoidosis have a tendency to react to vitamin D2. My associates and I have had 3 cases of sarcoidosis in which there was extreme hypervitaminosis D within three weeks after such therapy began.
