To the Editor: I have just read with interest the recent article (A. M. A. Arch Dermat. 76:595, 1957) "An Appraisal of the Therapeutic Effect of Riboflavin in Psoriasis." Since the second report of my first paper (J. Invest. Dermat. 18:305, 1952) was read before the Section on Dermatology of the American Medical Association in 1956 but has not been published, I am submitting this letter to the Archives.
I have used riboflavin extensively in my practice for over 12 years, mainly in the treatment of psoriasis. The total number of cases treated well exceeds 300. I am well cognizant of the multitude of new treatments that have come and gone throughout the years, and I have accepted them, used them, and discarded them, as they failed to live up to expectation.
