The book attempts to connect many diseases of man, including cancer, with abnormalities or differences in the chemical composition of the soil in which plants are grown and animals feed. The reviewer is not prepared to criticize the agricultural aspects, but the medical aspects are far-fetched and show an obvious attempt to extract bits and pieces of information here and there to be fitted into a grand scheme to explain all of man's ills.
