To the Editor:—
I should like to call your attention to the fact that Dr. Rolf F. Miller in his paper Epilating Folliculitis of the Glabrous Skin, published in the Archives of Dermatology, 83:777, 1961, overlooked a case previously recorded in the Society Transactions: Pascher, F., and Gay, G.: Folliculitis Depilantes des Parties Glabres (Arnozan); Folliculitis Sycosiformis Atrophicans Cutis Languinosa Corporis (Hoffmann), Arch. Derm. 78:658, 1958.I should like to add that while under our observation suppression of manifestations was attained in our patient with erythromycin. Unless any other case was missed the patient presented by us, before the Bronx Dermatologic Society, would then be the first to appear in the American literature.
