Abstract

Six cases of toxic reactions to naphazoline are reported. The drug was applied to intact skin under Saran* film. The symptomatology is described and the mode of action of the drug discussed. A plea is made for care in the use of plastic film dressings with drugs having potential toxic side-effects.
