Biopsy sections of psoriatic plaques that had been treated with intralesional triamcinolone acetonide or topical fluocinolone acetonide and occlusive dressings were examined for histopathological changes.
The findings were discussed, and a site of action of the steroids is proposed. The possible complications of local steroid therapy have been enumerated.
