Abstract

Pain, precipitated by the mildest of trauma, was the presenting symptom in this case of discoid lupus erythematosus of the ears. Modified occlusive therapy utilizing specially constructed plastic prosthetic devices with topical flurandrenolone cream resulted in rather remarkable subjective, though not objective, improvement.
