Abstract

This book fulfills admirably its intended purpose of furnishing to students and practitioners of medicine a textbook covering briefly the general essentials of dermatology with special reference to conditions prevailing in India. Particular attention is given to details concerning leprosy, leishmaniasis, yaws, and infestations with animal parasites. The illustrations are all grouped at the back of the book, to allow the text to be printed on less expensive paper, obviously to reduce the cost and allow wider distribution. It is well written, concise, free from confusing nomenclature, and presents exceptionally few typographical errors.
