Contact Dermatitis From Synthetic Oil of Mustard

Arch Dermatol. 1964;90(2):158-159. doi:10.1001/archderm.1964.01600020026004
Abstract

A Negro man developed a weeping, vesicular dermatitis following the application of a household liniment. Patch tests with the ingredients disclosed synthetic oil of mustard to be the main sensitizer. The eczematous reaction produced was remarkable because of its slow involutionary period.
