To the Editor:
I note in the July (90:123, 1964) issue of the Archives of Dermatology a case presentation, "Diagnosis: Reticulum Cell Sarcoma of the Skin with Alopecia Mucinosa." This patient was presented at the Bronx Dermatological Society, Nov 21, 1963, by Drs. Norman Orentreich, Robert Berger, and Robert Auerbach. This same patient was presented by me at the New York Dermatological Society on Jan 22, 1963, with a diagnosis "Follicular Mucinosis with Lymphoma." Her case is published in the Society Transactions of the Archives of Dermatology [89:303-305 (Feb) 1964]. A picture of this patient is included in the write-up.I call this matter to your attention to make known to the readers of the Archives that this is the same case published twice and, therefore, should not be counted twice in the grand total of the not too many cases published at the present in the world literature.
