Recent observations of a fatal case of erythema multiforme associated with acute anuria and acute renal tubular necrosis is described.

This involvement may occur early in the disease and be a major factor in the prognosis. Therefore, a thorough study of the urinary findings should be considered in all cases of erythema multiforme.
