Abstract

A 43-year-old Negro man, with atopic dermatitis of long standing, developed a super-imposed unrelated papular pruritic eruption and neurologic manifestations related to oral and parenteral intake of diphenhydramine. Immunologic, histopathologic, and clinical observations suggest a relationship of this observed vasculitis to diphenhydramine drug allergy.
