Abstract

Special vehicles such as dimethylacetamide (DMAC), dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), and methylethylether (MEE) greatly enhance the deposition of hexachlorophene in the horny layer and increase the bacteriostatic effectiveness of the horny layer so treated.
