Abstract

A case of hydroxychloroquine-induced agranulocytosis in a patient with discoid lupus erythematosus is reported. The patient had previously received chloroquine therapy for several months. Leukopenia preceded the appearance of agranulocytosis, and persisted for six weeks following clinical recovery.
